"Three Trees" Transparent Watercolor 81/2"x6 /12" $80 To purchase contact Linda at lindaabein@gmail.com
Inspiration: Cooler weather brings bare trees and snow at home. Fall turns into winter and the holiday season, a time for family, sharing, good food and giving thanks. All good times and wonderful memories...
Inspiration: While experiencing an experimental painting day of throwing, dripping, and spraying paint and water on yuppo paper the Crocus flowers appeared.
Inspiration: I did this monochromatic painting to show my students how to create a painting in one color using different values. It is interesting to watch young artists ages 5 to adult complete this exercise. At the beginning they are so confused but as the progress they are pleased with their results.
Remember time is getting shorter to order your animal portrait for your holiday gift giving. Contact Linda at lindaabein@gmail.com 14"x17" pencil drawings $195

"City Park by the Lake"
21"x28"
experimental
Sold
Inspiration: While experimenting with Yuppo paper, gesso, watercolor and printing, I began to see a vision of a city park in the abstract shapes, pushing it further it appeared to be by a lake.
Inspiration:This piece was done on Yuppo paper with acrylic gouache and transparent watercolor. Once again mother nautre took over my abstract and created a landscape.
Inspiration: In an experimental mood, I used mat medium to adhere rice paper to #140 pound arches watercolor paper. I placed transparent watercolor on the paper and then qouache out of the tube with a pallet knife. I did not intend to paint flowers, but after looking at the under painting, I clearly saw the flowers, must be the dreary rain pushing me to make a brighter day.
Inspiration: After watching the girls frolic in the rain and puddles in the pasture, I painted my version with color. It is always relaxing to watch the girls play, if they can stop munching on grass.
Inspiration: Remembering the fall in western New York State when the hills are covered in yellows, oranges, reds, and some still green. In early October some trees are bare and others are not, those that are still full are heavy with snow. You can hear the branches groaning and cracking under the heavy weight of the snow.

"Apples"
Acyrlic
24"x36"
$old
Inspiration: One of my adult students has been painting a bowl of apples. As she was having a difficult time with negative painting and other techniques I created my own apples to help her see different techniques and mixing colors instead of using flat paint out of the tube.
