This is another watermedia painting on yuppo paper.  I used Winsor Newton transparent watercolor paint and black gesso. Whenever you touch this paper it lifts the paint leaving almost white paper. The other horse in this battle didn't fare as well.

This painting was done as a demonstration in an adult art class.  I purchased all the pomegranates, we all drew our view of the fruit.  I used Winsor Newton watercolor on arches 140# cold press paper. We all took some home to use in salads and tried new recipes. Class demo work is discounted to $99.

This is another one of the unfinished yuppo paintings that is finally finished, although I may still tweak it a little.  This was done on yuppo paper using watercolor in spray bottles.  I have a few more of the yuppo paper paintings to complete, then on to the watercolors and acrylics.  My New Year's resolution is to complete a painting that I start within one week and finish all those that I have already started, the pile is quite large.

It is such fun to work and experiment on yuppo paper!  It is dark and dreary and pouring down rain outside the studio window, my inspiration. I wonder how much snow we would have if it was cold, several feet no doubt, since we already have had about four inches of rain.  They tell me weather like this sends women into labor, and maybe its true, since my daughter is at the hospital awaiting the arrival of her first child.  I'd better get going!!!
